Many of you know my first testimony about Arbonne’s Prolief progesterone cream and why I have such a passion to study and help women, in their health, especially hormone health.
After my fall and while I was in the hospital I noticed what I call a tightening in my abdomen, which happened over and over. I was on so many pain killers that I really didn’t have a grip on what was happening to me and ignored it.
Once off the morophine, I could kind of feel this “tightening” and I thought it was much like braxton hicks contractions you have before birth. Due to being on pain meds, again, they just didn’t really bother me and all I remember was they felt weird.
Six weeks after the fall, I was off the big pain killers and could feel again. The contractions didn’t ease and my stomach was now sore to the touch. I knew something was not right. I made an appointment at the O.B. doctor. Mercifully, I got in within a week.
I have to tell you that though I had suffered a broken femur, a surgery that put a permenent rod in my leg and was laid up for weeks, in pain no less, I was never worried about the situation. I knew what I had and what it would take to heal and really took an athlete’s attitude about it. I just got through it all. However, this situation scared me to death!
The unknown with this issue broke me in ways I cannot even communicate. It was hormone health that I studied and taught and how ironic that something could go wrong with me and I had no idea what it could be.
I told Dr. Booth everything that had happened and what I was feeling. After my explaination of the situation, she was quiet and commenced to examine me. She told me my uterus was three times the normal size and scheduled an ultrasound. She suspected I had fibroids which expanded the uterus.
We discussed if I had them what we would do, etc. and my progesterone cream. She was actually very supportive and enthusiastic about the cream helping. Progesterone is a natural anti-inflammatory and thins the endrometrial lining. If I had fibroids it would help. She suggested increasing my dosage and see what happens.
For the next five days I did just that. Within two days, I had less tenderness and the contractions disappeared. After the ultrasound she proclaimed my uterus only 2 cm too big (isn’t anything to even think about) and no fibroids at all! I left with a clean bill of health!
The point of this story is the power of giving the body what it needs and how quick it can respond. Probably due to the traumatic fall, my uterus was jarred and swelled. Since progesterone is a natural anti-inflammatory, it took down the swelling. It is so powerful, they even use in on the brain during some cranial surgeries. It is much needed in the body for many things beyond “female issues.” It can help with any illness that has inflammations attached like rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia.
In fact, my mother had the most amazing rheumatoid arthritis testimony regarding progesterone. She was on methotrexate and prednisone for it. After only a month or so of taking Prolief she was totally off the prednisone and halfed her methotrexate. Then she went off the methotrexate all the way and the doctor actually told her she was in ” apparent remission” but said it wasn’t possible! What?? She did well with the arthritis until she died five years later.
I am not a doctor, but a self-studied woman of both books and the experience of many, many, many women. I know and have seen the healing power of progesterone. Progesterone does so many things for the body that we are unaware of and sadly, most women over 35 years of age lack enough progesterone.
If you have a health issue you haven’t been able to correct and you have enough patience to allow your body the time to heal, contact me. I would be happy to give you some tips on how to put your body in balance and restore your health.
